I realize that there's a plethora of beach/ocean images out there in the vast, wide world of the Internet. BUT, there is something about this particular image that I find appealing. I don't know what exactly, but when I look at this picture, I feel like I can almost feel the ocean breeze, smell the salt in the fresh air, and hear the waves crashing against the sand. How cheesy does this all sound? Very. However, I think this picture reminds me of a time when life can be simple and satisfying. Not a time that has passed, but a time that can be accessible at any moment in life. I guess its a bit of a reminder that things can be okay.
